Verso l’Alto! Towards the heights!

About us

Verso l’alto, from which VersaAlta is derived, is an Italian phrase meaning “Towards the heights”. This is a well-known phrase used by Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. More than a phrase, it is a calling to all Christians to reach towards the ultimate height…heaven. At VersAlta Mission Solutions, we are joyful missionary disciples charged to connect people-to-people and win souls for Christ — helping them reach the highest of heights. We provide strategy, consultation and tools to help organizations share the gospel.

  • Disciples on a mission. Winning souls for Christ. We are thought leaders for the mission. We are hungry for souls. On the cross, Jesus cries “I thirst.” He thirsts for souls who are lost. In our brokenness, in our imperfect sinful selves, we long to help people satisfy their ultimate hunger. This is a hunger to know the God who loves them so much that He died for us. God called us to bring the Good News to all, but in the new millennium it must be done through modern methods. Our job is not only to provide the tools that facilitate engagement and follow-up, but to be the disciples and missionaries we are called to be. • Honoring a Remarkable Woman I had the profound blessing of meeting my birthmother, Mary Jo, when I was 23. Over the past 32 years, I was fortunate to know her and gain an extended family. Mary Jo faced a challenging situation at 25, finding herself pregnant and unmarried. Her strength, perseverance, and immense love led her to make two significant sacrifices for someone she might never meet. First, she chose to give me life, enduring nine months of pregnancy amidst potential feelings of shame or judgment. Then, she made the selfless decision to place me with a childless couple, giving them the opportunity to share their love and blessings with me. I am deeply grateful for these choices, as they shaped my existence. Words cannot fully express my gratitude and love for Mary Jo. Her love for her family and those who entered her life was evident. She spoke with a gentle voice, yet possessed a mountain of strength. Even as she battled cancer, her resilience shone through until the very end. Mary Jo, thank you for your love, sacrifice, and unwavering witness. Your unconditional, selfless love touched all of us. You have completed your journey and are now at peace. I look forward to the day we may reunite in a place of eternal love and no suffering. Note: I acknowledge the pain many women endure through miscarriage or abortion. This tribute to my birthmother is not intended to signal virtue or shame anyone. My heart goes out to those who have faced such losses. Know that you are deeply loved, and forgiveness and healing are available: https://lnkd.in/gw9TNg3 https://lnkd.in/g_y9e4AP

  • We are thrilled at exciting news that Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, a patron and inspiration for our company and its mission, is set to be canonized in the Jubilee Year of 2025. His life, dedicated to charity, social action, building friendships and faith communities, and a profound love for the mountains and the poor, is the foundation of our values and core purpose. We are inspired to embody the zeal and compassion that Frassati demonstrated throughout his short but impactful life. The phrase he wrote on one of his mountain climbing photos-- "Verso L'Alto" - to the heights, encourages us all to aim higher in our personal and professional endeavors. Let's honor his legacy by continuing to serve our community with the same dedication and love that he showed the world. Here's to reaching new heights together, inspired by the soon-to-be Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati!
