Matthew Lazzara and his team of researchers discovered a new mechanism that's driving drug resistance in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, one of the deadliest cancers. In their recent study, the team identified a lack of oxygen as a trigger for pancreatic cancer cells to become more resistant to treatment. They also found multiple ways to interrupt the process, potentially leading to more effective treatments for patients. https://lnkd.in/ebV37X8p
