Helping to Make the Holidays Happier. Through its mission of Doing the Most Good, The Salvation Army of Utica will host its annual Christmas food, clothing, and toy distribution to more than 400 local families and individuals in need on Friday, December 20. The Utica National Group Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Utica National Insurance Group, has awarded The Salvation Army of Utica a $5,000 grant to help support its mission. In addition, non-perishable food donated by Utica National team members for a company food drive and extra toys from our recent Children’s Holiday Party are being given to the organization. Nothing beats sharing the joys of the holiday season with family and friends! This past Saturday, our teammates were invited to bring their kiddos, grandkids, nieces, and nephews to our Home Office for our annual Utica National Children’s Holiday Party. It’s always wonderful to see smiles and excitement from the hundreds of kids and families in attendance. The morning was full of festive activities such as face painting, arts & crafts, photo booth fun, and even a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus! And of course, we had a few special guests – our friend Naudie from the Utica Comets and some four-legged friends from the Utica ZooMobile!
