For nearly 100 years, United Way of Waco-McLennan County has focused on strengthening our community and creating opportunity for every resident through inspired and informed philanthropy and partnerships to address our greatest challenges. We fight for the health, education, financial stability, and safety net services of every person in McLennan County. UWWMC works with corporate, private and civic leaders to strengthen programs that support and empower children, families, and individuals. Through the generous support of our donors and the strength of our non-profit partners, we are working to affect equitable, systemic change in education, health, financial stability, and safety net services so that all people achieve their full potential.

Since 1969, WFM has been dedicated to improving access to primary care for low-income and underserved populations in the Heart of Texas. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), WFM provides comprehensive health services on an income-based sliding fee scale, ensuring that everyone can receive the care they need. In addition to its vital health services, WFM offers compassionate, culturally sensitive care through its Residency Program, training tomorrow’s top family physicians right here in our community. 💙 Together, we’re building a healthier future for our neighbors!

VOICE (Viable Options in Community Endeavors) is dedicated to empowering children and families by providing education presentations that promote behavioral health and wellness. What they cover: ✅ Behavioral health topics ✅ Tobacco, alcohol and drug use prevention These events also feature Red Ribbon and Tobacco-Free campaigns, where materials such as banners, pencils and bracelets are distributed to promote the message of healthy living.
