The City of Royal Oak & Michigan Battle of the Buildings are partnering to offer local businesses the opportunity to lower their building energy use. Local businesses in the Royal Oak community can join the Michigan Battle of the Buildings and receive the following benefits: - Get FREE energy benchmarking for one year - Receive a FREE energy walkthrough and recommendations from the Small Business Association of Michigan - Receive a building scorecard - Get access to utility rebate matching The Michigan Battle of the Buildings is a state-wide awards and recognition program open to various building types in the state of Michigan for achievements made in energy and water use reduction. There is no cost to join or participate. There will be two informational sessions to learn more about this opportunity! January 16, 2025 - In person at the Royal Oak Public Library at 6:00PM.
