We’re excited to recognize Brian Hunt as our October CORE Employee of the Month! With recent changes at our South Carolina project, Brian stepped into the excavator operator role and hit the ground running. Not only has he embraced the role with confidence, but he’s also playing a key role in mentoring younger team members. Brian’s positive attitude and willingness to share pointers are boosting both productivity and morale on-site. Brian has worked at numerous Turner Mining Group projects and he continues to prove he’s the kind of person you want on your team—reliable, adaptable, and always eager for the next challenge.

This post is just to acknowledge all of the hard work that happens at mines across the world on the night shift. As Safety Professionals, we often times get sucked into the ideal notions of what should happen on any given shift and forget what challenges exist just with the simple differences between day and night. PROJECT UPDATE Our Fort Dodge, Iowa operation is progressing steadily as we strip topsoil and overburden material to expose the gypsum ore, providing ample room for our client to expand their operations in the new year. Despite the challenges of a rapid deployment and the unpredictable weather in the heart of the country, our team remains focused and committed, ensuring that we are on track to complete our scope of work on time by the end of the year. #mining #MinedinAmerica
