2023 was the best year of my life and I’m sad to see it go! It was my first year sober. I picked up running marathons. Did three regular and one ultra! Raised tons of money for charities. Got into great shape. Published a lot of papers. Met tons of cool people. Cuddled lots of babies at an NICU as a baby cuddler. Lectured a lot. Learned a lot. Continued to love my job. Now, I’m looking forward to 2024!!! Goal for next year is to do a 100 mile run and add four more regular marathons to my belt! Let’s go!!!!! Hopefully I can pull off that 100 mile run in Antarctica. But that trip may have to wait another year or so. Plus, I end it with 137 trees and 137 tons of carbon capture!! Treecard ! Pax et bonum and happy new year!
