TRC congratulates the NYSERDA Comfort Home team and for being recognized as a 2024 ACEEE “Leaders of the Pack” for Beneficial Home Electrification. This award recognizes NYSERDA’s Comfort Home Program, which supports building envelope upgrades to prepare homes for New York’s statewide transition to clean heating and cooling with heat pumps. The program, implemented by TRC, supports beneficial electrification by replacing home fossil fuel appliances and equipment with more efficient electric alternatives and improving the energy efficiency of the building envelope through weatherization.
