For the 24th year, TA Support Center team members have worked with the American Red Cross of Northern Ohio to collect toys for children who have been impacted by home fires. The team donated hundreds of items including toys and electronics this year. Thanks to our incredible team, including our 2024 Toy Drive Ambassadors Deborah Shelton and Eric DePanfilis, for coming together to make the lives of many families a bit brighter this season.

We’re grateful to our team members coast to coast who partnered with local non-profits in their communities to create ‘go bags’ for women residing in shelters. The ‘go bags’ are filled with toiletries, snacks, and other necessities women can use for self-care. The community project was an initiative of the TA Women’s International Network, a business resource group that promotes the advancement of women in the workplace.

Thank you Women In Trucking Association for hosting such an incredible Accelerate conference for the 10th year in a row. We are always so excited to celebrate women professional drivers and women-owned businesses in our industry. Thank you for honoring us with a Top Company for Women to Work in Transportation award and for allowing CEO Debi Boffa to take part in a panel discussion about the important issue of truck parking. It was also a pleasure to talk to #DaveNemoShow about what’s new at TA and an honor to have our own Kathleen Roseman talk to the audience about her experience as the Chair of the WIT Foundation Board. We remain committed to providing a safe, diverse and inclusive environment for all team members and guests.

We are so proud of the truck service technicians who represented TA in the 19th Annual TMC SuperTech competition. And we are especially proud of top prize winners Steven Layton from TA London, OH in the “Tire and Wheel” category (pictured on left) and Christopher Cooper from TA San Antonio, TX in the “Trailer Electrical Corrosion” category. Great job guys!

"Instead of turning a blind eye, he acted with compassion and courage." In October 2018, Site General Manager Charles Bernsen helped save a woman from human trafficking. We are honored to share that Charles has received the 2024 TAT Harriet Tubman award for his actions that fall day. We are even more pleased to share that Nikki, the woman he saved, surprised Charles and presented him with the award. Read the emotional story:
