Baby it's cold outside but that did not stop our Designated Exemplary Kinship Navigator Program team from making sure our kinship families are ready for Christmas! They braved the cold yesterday dancing, singing and handing out hundreds of meals from Mobile Meals of Toledo to grandparents & relatives raising grandchildren in our area! This is one of the many celebrations they host for the families they serve! Happy Holidays!

Thank you to United Way of Greater Toledo, Palmer Energy Company and Christ Child Society of Toledo for helping us to give 148 winter coats and 250 book bags with school supplies to our Kinship Families! It was a truly a great day to help out children being raised by grandparents or relatives. Our Kinship Navigator Program is Exemplary Designated by the Grandfamilies & Kinship Support Network (A National Technical Assistance Center) supporting grandparents and family relatives raising children in Lucas County when the biological parent is unable or unwilling to do so. This program provides helpful information and community resources to meet the vital needs of kinship families.
