The THOR Community Foundation is excited to support the YWCA North Central Indiana Safe Haven. Our multi-year donations will help provide counseling for the youngest victims of domestic violence, as well as economic empowerment education to survivors so they can become self-sufficient. The YWCA North Central Indiana is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, advocating for social justice, and supporting families and communities. As the largest regional provider of domestic violence services, they offer emergency shelter for women and children escaping violence. In 2023, Safe Haven, the sole domestic violence shelter in Elkhart County, assisted nearly 300 women and children within the shelter and reached hundreds more through non-residential and outreach programs. THOR Global Headquarters team members participated in the CAPS - Child and Parent Services (CAPS) Heart of the Holidays program again this year, helping three deserving families in our community enjoy the holidays. The Heart of the Holidays initiative, which we're proud to be a part of, brings hope and happiness to families in need by fulfilling their holiday wishes for essentials like clothing, hygiene products, food, toys, and books for children.
