A team of 10 Thompson Thrift team members and family members recently completed the 6th Vision Trip of the year to Merida, Mexico, with Dr. Albert Allen and Brian Copes from December 13-15 . During the trip, the team successfully fitted every amputee who visited the church on Saturday, achieving a record total of 15 amputees receiving prosthetics. Thompson Thrift also committed to sponsoring the church pastor’s double cataract surgery, enabling him to regain his vision. At the end of the day, the church that hosted the group held a celebration service, and the team also attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new church building funded by Thompson Thrift. Thompson Thrift announced the sale of Taylor Farms, a 276-unit, Class A multifamily community 20 minutes from Uptown Charlotte. The Northmarq team led by John Currin, Andrea Howard, Allan Lynch, Caylor Mark, Jeff Glenn and Austin Jackson brokered the sale to Atlanta-based Mesa Capital Partners. “Taylor Farms was our first multifamily community in the Carolinas and we were fortunate to capitalize on its prime location to bring a high-quality community to one of the nation’s hottest rental submarkets,” said Josh Purvis, Managing Partner for Thompson Thrift Residential. Thompson Thrift announced today that the Fishers Event Center, a 7,500-seat arena within The Crossing at Fishers District, recently completed construction and has opened its doors following a ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 22. “The new arena is the centerpiece of The Crossing at Fishers District and will provide year-round visibility and foot traffic for the restaurateurs, retailers and service providers we are looking to bring to the development,” said Ashlee Boyd, Managing Partner, Thompson Thrift Commercial. “We look forward to working with existing and new-to-market concepts wanting to join this truly unique environment.” The Event Center is at the southern end of the master-planned Fishers District development.
