So, what do animal advocates think about cultivated meat? 🤔🌱 At AVA, we love engaging with our #community on groundbreaking topics—and cultivated meat is no exception! 📈 You may remember that we recently surveyed #animal #advocates to explore their perspectives on this #revolutionary #innovation, and here’s what we discovered from 290 respondents: 🔹 The majority is FOR it! 🙌 Many of you see cultivated meat as a key step in bridging the gap between advocacy and mainstream acceptance. 🔹Overwhelmingly, respondents want to see cultivated products showcased at AVA Summits. 🚀 🔹From "It’s the future!" to "It’s not for me, but I see the value," your voices reflect the #complexity of our movement. Can we take a moment to recognize just how impressive it was to offer live translations at AVA Latin America + Vegfest #Brazil? 🎧💥 With a tri-lingual audience, ensuring seamless #communication across languages was no small feat. 🤝🏾 We shared knowledge effortlessly across native #Spanish #Portuguese and #English speakers. Happy New Year 2025 from AVA International! 🌟 As we enter 2025, we are filled with immense gratitude for the incredible journey we've had together in 2024. It has truly been a transformative year for AVA, and we are excited for what’s ahead. 📸2024 Highlights: 🌏 AVA US in Washington, DC, May 2024 — A powerful gathering of #advocates from across the globe, making strides for #farmedanimals in the heart of the United States. 🌏 Asia Farm Animal Day (AFAD) in Hanoi, Vietnam, October 2024 — We hosted an incredible event in collaboration with our AFAD co-producers, Asia for Animals Coalition, and are proud to announce that it’s now known as AVA #Asia starting this year. We can’t wait to see you in #India! 🌍 AVA Latin America + VegFest Brazil in São Paulo, #Brazil, December 2024 — Our very first event in #LatinAmerica in collaboration with the incredible Sociedade Vegetariana Brasileira - SVB team, and what an unforgettable experience it was. We’ll be back for AVA Latin America 2025, stronger than ever! In total, we: 🔸hosted 3 major conferences 🔸welcomed over 2,000 attendees from 50+ countries 🔸supported over 400 advocates with travel stipends 🔸grew our team to 6 core members, alongside incredible partners worldwide ✨ We also achieved a major milestone in 2024: AVA International is now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit! This means we can offer tax-deductible donations and continue building the trust and credibility necessary for even greater impact. What’s ahead in 2025? 🚀 Another year of impactful events, of course: 🌎 AVA Summit US - Los Angeles, CA - May 15-18, 2025 🌍 AVA Summit Africa - Nairobi, Kenya - July 17-20, 2025 🌏 AVA Asia - Delhi, India - September/October 2025 🌍 AVA Summit Latin America - Location TBD - December 2025/January 2026 We can’t wait to continue this journey with all of you!
