We are thrilled to partner with the Texas Cavaliers River Parade for their 4th annual Cavaliers Cares City-Wide Community Service Day! Members of the Texas Cavaliers, along with their families, worked alongside The Arc staff and Board members to enhance our facilities, and showcase our dedication to creating an inclusive environment for individuals with IDD. We had a FANTASTIC time and cannot wait for our participants to see the final product from our day of service. Today was an exciting day for our participants. We officially opened the Snack Bar at both locations. This exciting opportunity is made possible by H-E-B Helping Here, and this program is helping teach our participants inventory management, financial management, administrative support, and customer experience. We kicked-off the exciting event with a ribbon cutting, and then the store was officially open for business. The Snack Bar will operate every Friday, offering routine inventory items, and on the last Friday of each month we will feature a specialty item, accompanied by a movie screening. #TheArc #IDD #TheArcofSanAntonio #SnackBar
