National Human Rights Day reminds us of the importance of protecting the inherent dignity and equality of all people. This day marks the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a historic document adopted by the United Nations in 1948 that set the foundation for global human rights standards. At the Women’s Fund, we focus on advancing gender equity and advocating for systemic changes that ensure everyone, especially women and girls, can live with dignity and opportunity. Protecting human rights is not just a responsibility—it’s a path to a more just and inclusive society. How will you stand up for human rights today? Share your thoughts below.
