I usually don’t make New Year’s resolutions, but this year, I’ve decided to try something different. After thinking about it long and hard, I’ve found my resolution: to surround myself with people who feel like sunshine. Jim Rohn once said, “We are the average of the five people we spend the most time with.” If that’s true, then it’s so important to choose those people wisely. That’s why I love our community, Raindrops! I see you supporting and cheering others on in the comments and in your community. Let’s spend our time with those who: — lift us up — inspire us — bring out the best in us. Good friends and supportive people can completely change how we see the world and ourselves. They remind us of our worth when we forget, celebrate our wins, and help us through the tough moments. They challenge us to grow, dream bigger, and push past our limits. This year, I’m choosing positivity, love, and encouragement—and the people who embody those things. Here’s to finding and keeping the ones who make life brighter. Who’s with me? One of my friends is still on stress leave after 4 months. His team lead actively made his life a living hell for over a year until he almost broke.
