  • Let us begin by thanking Jermaine for his years of service in the United States Navy. In 2007, shortly after transitioning to civilian life, he was offered to obtain his CDL. During this time, his love for customer service unsurfaced. In 2020 he joined SYGMA as a Delivery Driver and two years later was promoted into his current position as Transportation Supervisor. Jermaine's primary focus is to support the delivery team through continuous on the job training. This support has enabled him to learn new skill sets he didn't know he had. The symbiotic relationship between Jermaine and the delivery team ensure our customers receive their product safely and on-time. Pull up a chair! In his free time, he loves spending time with his four daughters and six grandchildren and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Knicks, and San Diego Padres. #MOTM#Monday#Meetourteam

  • Let's introduce you to Michael, EHS Leader at SYGMA; however, he began his career as a Driver Helper (2001). Michael epitomizes the power of investing in others. Throughout his tenure, he obtained his CDL, drove for 16-years, held the position of training specialist working with new drivers and warehouse associates followed by his current role – safety. Michael and his wife of one year have a blended family of four children, 7 dogs, 3 cats, 3 bearded dragons, 2 turtles, 1 fish, 2 frogs, and Ed. Ed? A 60-pound tortoise and growing! Lions and tigers and bears, OH MY! Why SYGMA? - in his own words "I was a kid, and they were throwing money at me." SYGMA has always felt like family.   • Let's introduce you to Brittany, Merchandising Planner II at SYGMA. She spent over ten years in the restaurant industry in a variety of roles before joining SYGMA in 2023. Brittany worked as a pastry chef for several years after graduating from culinary school. We didn't make her a foodie; she was born a foodie! In her free time, she keeps busy with her active son Zayne (10) either at sports practices or enjoying the outdoors. While indoors they spend ample time in the kitchen cooking and baking together. When asked Why SYGMA? - the company and the people. Brittany has friends who transitioned from the restaurant industry to SYGMA, so she jumped on the opportunity to apply. SYGMA offers work-life balance and believe having time away from work is imperative to the health and wellbeing of colleagues.   • Let's introduce you to Rebecca, Corporate Account Manager at SYGMA. She began her SYGMA career in 2017 as a planner. Prior to joining the team, she worked at Texas Roadhouse for eleven years. Food is her jam; she truly enjoys interacting with the customers and for many years to come. She and her husband, Rob, share two small boys who together cheer O – H – I – O during football season. In her free time, these buckeyes also enjoy spending time in the kitchen baking. Why SYGMA? - after spending eleven years in the restaurant industry she wanted to make a change.
