We gated our social media community.. What we said: 🔒Must have a property listing (think Airbnb/VRBO/direct booking site) to join 🔒No accounts created less than a year ago What we saw: 🔗Higher quality conversations 🔗Less moderation alerts from our moderators 🔗Warmer audience for our brand partners There’s always going to be the vanity metrics that tempt us to focus on the growing member count. Im keeping my head down and focusing 2024 on growing the value side of our community for our brands and our members. After all..our community is plum full of investors so growing is everyone’s main goal 📈🪩🎉 💬What are your thoughts on gating social media communities?
