Ways to Be a Good Neighbor to the Homeless Community Being a good neighbor extends beyond our immediate surroundings. Here are three simple ways you can make a positive impact on the homeless community: 1️⃣ Donate Your contributions can go a long way in providing essentials like food, clothing, and shelter. Even small donations can make a big difference in someone's life. 2️⃣ Volunteer Share your time and talents with local organizations. Whether it's serving meals, tutoring, or lending a listening ear, your presence matters. 3️⃣ Make Hygiene Kits Assemble kits with items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, hand sanitizer, and socks. These small gestures of care can restore dignity and hope. Together, we can create a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported. Like many people, Jowell found the holidays tough, so she decided to throw a party to lift her spirits. At that event, a friend introduced her to The Midnight Mission, and after learning about the incredible work TMM does to transform lives, she knew she wanted to get involved. What started as a small backyard gathering has since grown into a remarkable event, Midnight Wonderland. We are deeply grateful to Jowell, Crystal, and Whiskey Go Go for making this event such a success. #MidnightWonderland #TheMidnightMission #TransformingLives

Meet Your Neighbor, Arthur Arthur is a Skid Row resident who comes to The Midnight Mission for meals and takes full advantage of our Music With A Mission program. His love for music is just one of the many ways he finds healing and community. Arthur is on track to transition into permanent housing by January, and we’re proud to stand in the gap, supporting him as he waits for that new chapter to begin. #TheMidnightMission #MusicWithAMission #Homelessness #SkidRow #CommunitySupport #EndHomelessness #RecoveryJourney
