Our Holiday Adopt a Family is in full swing, and we urgently need your help. We currently lack specific items for children in our shelter, and we are turning to our community for support. Your donation of gift cards from Walmart and Target would make a world of difference in our efforts to ensure that every child in our care can fully participate in the joyous holiday activities this season. Any amount you can provide is incredibly valuable and deeply appreciated. Please drop off gift cards Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, at our Admin Office (Door #7), or mail them to The Julian Center, 2011 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. Electronic gift cards can be sent to sedmonds@juliancenter.org. We are profoundly grateful to all our Holiday Adopt-A-Family Donors and are committed to making sure every youth and family in our shelter has the items they need this holiday season. Thank you for your generosity and for helping us bring joy to these children’s lives. #WishlistWednesday

Thank you to the amazing volunteers from Kittle Property Group who helped paint part of our emergency shelter. Your gifts today on this #GivingTuesday are all going to our "Hues that Heal" program to help us transform our emergency shelter into a more therapeutic space for survivors and their families. Our goal today is to raise $2,000 for paint and supplies. Each gallon of paint costs approximately $30. Thank you for your generosity! Give now at https://lnkd.in/dkhVWPvz

Thank you Kroger for your continued support of The Julian Center and our community! The Kroger Cafe in our shelter provides survivors with three healthy meals each day, serving more than 29,000 meals over the past year.
Another chance to be proud of our community partnerships. Today, we presented a check to The Julian Center of Indianapolis. It's our contribution for the meals provided at what the center calls The Kroger Cafe. Jeff Brown said 83 people spent last night in the safety of The Julian Center. 55 of them were children. The cafe provides 3 square meals a day to each person in the shelter. Over the past 12 months, The Kroger Cafe has served more than 29,000 meals to survivors of domestic violence. Please remember that when a Kroger cashier invites you to "round up." Small change from you can lead to big changes in the lives of people supported by The Julian Center and other beneficiaries of our Zero Hunger | Zero Waste plan. #Shelter #FightHunger #Support #Survivors #WeAreKroger
