In the spirit of giving at this time of year and as a testament to our Company Basic Beliefs, employees at our headquarters recently banded together to volunteer their time sorting fruit with our long-time partners at the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. The foodbank sourced an impressive 20,392 pounds of citrus to bring to Orrville, which was inspected, sorted, counted and bagged by our 300 employee volunteers. By the end of the event, there were a total of 5,142 bags of oranges and 1,185 bags of grapefruit, which were distributed to local community members in need. Thank you to all of our employee volunteers and the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank for their efforts to make this a huge success!

It is recyclable, environmentally friendly, made with a minimum of 80% paper fiber and is estimated to eliminate over 30,000 pounds of non-recyclable packaging annually! Our packaging goals are based on three principles: support recycling, source sustainably and optimize design. We’re excited to add this innovative packaging to the portfolio.

Today, we’re excited to highlight Ali Brown, who spent time this year donating blood stem cells to a recipient across the world after being on the donor list for over 15 years! Ali joined Be The Match (now renamed National Marrow Donor Program) while she was in college, was finally matched with a leukemia patient in December of 2023 and donated in May of 2024. She is inspired by the profound impact one can have on another’s life by making a seemingly simple commitment. Please join us in thanking Ali for her charity and volunteerism!
