A huge thank you to Downtown Brooklyn Partnership for hosting a holiday luncheon for our Ready, Willing & Able trainees. It means so much to the Men in Blue to have their efforts recognized as they work hard to transform their lives and embrace new opportunities. We’re proud to partner together to keep the community clean and safe.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Mama Doe Memorial! Together, we lit candles to honor lives lost while facing homelessness, celebrated those who have overcome it through our programs, and recognized those still on their journey to stability. We are grateful for our supporters and community partners, including Assemblymember Amanda Septimo, civil rights attorney Norman Siegel, and many others who made this event so meaningful.

As the year winds down, we at The Hort are taking a moment to reflect on the connections and communities that inspire us—like our friends at The Doe Fund's Supportive Housing in Crotona. 💚 On this special day, we celebrated the final garden harvest of the season by coming together to cook and enjoy a meal featuring root veggies and mashed potatoes with garden-fresh chives and rosemary. 🥔🌿 Guests also left with leftover veggies to savor at home. 🥕✨ A heartfelt thank you to our partners at The Doe Fund for collaborating with us to bring the healing power of #TherapeuticHorticulture to your community. 🌱#greentheinbetween
