We are not going anywhere. The reality is that LGBTQIA+ Texans need healthcare yesterday, today, and into the future. We are prepared to continue providing access to PrEP, HIV care, gender-affirming care, mental health services and other life-saving care that our patients turn to us for. That commitment is not going anywhere, no matter who is in office. Our priority is, and always will be, the health and well-being of our patients. We take care of us.

At Kind Clinic, we believe that healthcare should be as colorful, bold, and unique as the community we serve. We're excited to announce our brand-new social media series featuring our CEO, Christopher Hamilton, called "Navigaytion." Christopher is a passionate gay man who's committed to breaking down barriers in healthcare for the LGBTQIA+ community. In "Navigaytion," Christopher takes a hands-on approach to better undertsand the needs of the queer community - by stepping right into it. Watch our premiere episode out now, where Christopher teams up with Texas drag icon Brigitte Bandit to experience the transformative power of drag firsthand, while diving into a conversation that draws parallels between finding your drag persona and finding affirming healthcare at Kind Clinic. https://lnkd.in/gMn3CejM

Today, St. David's Foundation awarded Texas Health Action and Kind Clinic a grant to expand access to health insurance in Central Texas. Kind Clinic’s Patient Support Services team helps patients obtain insurance through the Affordable Care Act and navigate the complexities of labs, PrEP, PEP, and HIV care. 17% of Texans were uninsured in 2022, and approximately 40% of our patients are currently uninsured. This grant will help us reduce this percentage to better align with the statewide trend. More on this announcement: https://lnkd.in/g4Vm7NE7
