As we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, we are reminded of the importance of giving back. Thanks to the generosity of our team, we raised over $950 and collected around 180lbs of food. The Regional Food Bank serves 23 counties in New York State, providing nourishment to about 350,000 people every month. We are proud to support their mission to alleviate hunger, prevent food waste, and strengthen our communities. Recently the Connecticut Department of Transportation has renumbered the exit signs on I-384 in the towns of East Hartford, Manchester and Bolton. This is a continuing effort to make the exit numbers closely match the miles traveled along the highway.   I have been saying for nearly 3 decades that the exit number should reflect miles. With simple math you know how far it is to your exit. Having been involved with the first re-signing project in Connecticut we have a full understanding of the process and logistics involved. Tectonic performed the Construction Inspection and Engineering Services on I-395 from Groton all the way to the Massachusetts boarder. The nearly 66 miles of interstate had so many signs!
