We extend our congratulations to Natalia Serrano MD MSc, and Nour Aboushaar, MS, PharmD, RPh of Bayer on the publication of their review article titled "The mutually reinforcing dynamics between pain and stress: mechanisms, impacts and management strategies" in Frontiers in Pain Research. It is a privilege for Tech Observer medicalcommunications to support this work. Tech Observer is very happy that the work of our medical writers was acknowledged by the authors.
Thrilled to share our latest accomplishment!🎉 My colleague Nour Aboushaar, and I have published our work in the peer-reviewed journal *Frontiers in Pain Research* - a testament to the importance of advancing scientific understanding in the pain category field. This publication explores the interplay between pain and stress, emphasizing their mutually reinforcing effects on quality of life. It’s particularly relevant to the self-care space, underscoring the importance of holistic strategies to manage both conditions effectively. Pain and stress, often called "worldwide epidemics" of modern life, affect millions globally, with pain impacting 27.5% of the population and stress reported by 84% of Americans in the past two weeks. Together, they drive significant personal and economic burdens, costing $560–635 billion annually. Many thanks to our global team and Tech Observer for their support and contributions. Their collaboration was instrumental in bringing this project to fruition; Peter VanZile, Norell Hadzimichalis, Ric Timmers, Iliana Argueta Díaz, Gabriela Zuniga, Ricardo Salazar, Mohamed Atef #PainResearch #OpenAccess #OpenScience #OTCHealth #ScientificPublication Read here: https://lnkd.in/eucmJkm7

"3 in 4 women say menopause has interfered in their lives. 64% say they feel unprepared to handle the symptoms." Tech Observer thank Diana May Kim TAN and Emmy Abdul Alim, founders of Menopause Care Alliance (MCA), for giving a talk on "Menopause in the workplace" to colleagues in our Singapore office. During the talk, our colleagues got to learn more about menopause, its impact on individuals, and the important role that family, colleagues, and businesses play in the menopausal journey. MCA (https://lnkd.in/gyRt3rJp) is an independent, non-profit patient advocacy group committed to building more informed, stronger, healthier lives throughout the menopausal years. To support MCA's work, Tech Observer is donating SGD1,000 to the organisation. Once again, we thank Diana and Emmy for their insights and wish MCA all the best in its mission.
