Last week, Taylor English hosted Deborah Schwartz Griffin and her organization, Creative Connector* Collective, for their monthly CEO roundtable. Members from various industries shared valuable insights to help one another grow their businesses, generate ROI, and build lasting referral partnerships. Dennis Kimbro, a professor at Clark Atlanta University, delivered an inspiring talk on "Navigating the New World of Work," and Tracy Leffel and Chris Karabinos from Snellings Walters Insurance Agency addressed Georgia's insurance crisis and shared a roadmap to success. This week, Steven W. Zelkowitz was honored by the Alliance for Progress (AFP) as a Community Trailblazer Honoree. AFP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting single mothers and senior citizens, particularly within the Haitian community of North Miami. Guylene Berry, President of AFP, presented Steven with the award, and his daughter joined him for the ceremony. Steven has been involved with this non-profit for 18 years and served as its first Chairman of the Board.

Last week, Atlanta associate Riviere Duffy served as the MC for a Fireside Chat featuring Judge Nancy Abudu of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, presented by the Younger Lawyers Division of the Atlanta Bar Association. Riviere serves on the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Division of the Atlanta Chapter, which will be hosting the upcoming Robert S. Vance Forum of the Bill of Rights.
