  • Team TATRC started off the week with the distinct honor of hosting our Army Surgeon General, LTG Mary Izaguirre, along with her Command Sergeant Major, CSM Timothy Sprunger, and her esteemed Staff for an integrated product demonstration in our field tents. This visit provided an incredible opportunity to demonstrate how TATRC is at the forefront of automating casualty care to drive military medicine modernization. The first leg of the tour was kicked off by our sister DRU, the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA), led by USAMMDA Commander, COL Mara Kreishman-Deitrick & her Deputy, LTC Sara Harmon and several other key subject matter experts who highlighted their outstanding work on Brain Health and H2F. Then it was TEAM TATRC’s turn as we highlighted TATRC's innovative passive data collection technologies and their critical role in advancing battlefield medical care. Through in-depth discussions and interactive presentations that featured projects from PCC4, LTG Izaguirre gained valuable insight into how TATRC's current and future contributions are shaping the future of combat casualty care, directly impacting Warfighter survival on the battlefield. We are proud to play a vital role in supporting the Army’s mission to advance healthcare innovation for those who serve. Thank you, LTG Izaguirre, for your leadership and support of our mission! #FuseTheTeam | #FindAWay | #AutomatingCasualtyCare Defense Health Agency U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command

  • 🎉✨"Tis the season to celebrate All Things TATRC with a grateful heart!"✨🎉 Last week, the festive spirit was on full display & in full swing as Team TATRC gathered at the beautiful Morningside Inn for our 27th Annual Holiday Team Building Party & Luncheon! The afternoon opened with a heartfelt welcome from our new Deputy, LTC Rachel Morgans followed by a reverent & sincere invocation by one of our Combat Medics, SFC Dustin Turner and an uplifting & genuine toast from Science Director, Mr. Matt Quinn, setting the tone for an event filled with joy, camaraderie, and unity. A delicious meal was followed by our much anticipated (and animated) "Reindeer Games," where teams showcased their creativity, teamwork, and competitive spirit! As the festivities concluded, TATRC Commander COL Jeremy Pamplin donned his holiday sweater and Santa hat to deliver an inspiring address. • Staff from TATRC’s MMSIV group were thrilled to attend their very first Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation & Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando, FL last week! CPT Tamara Richardson and Dr. Ericka Stoor-Burning enjoyed their time in the sunshine state and especially the incredible opportunity to meet like-minded innovators pushing the boundaries of training and research. They had the privilege of engaging with COL Natalie Nevins, MSHPE, MSS, FACOFP, FS, MS and Dr. Rosellen Roche, MBBS/MD, PhD, FHEA who are collaborating to understand the impact of moral Injury and how technology can possibly improve the acute and chronic impact of those injuries. CPT Richardson & Dr. Stoor-Burning also connected with AMSO and had a robust discussion with Mr. Andre Davis, Modeling and Simulation Office Integration Officer, who helped make additional introductions to help bridge the gap of data collection within training via validation and accreditation processes guidance. In addition, they met with the NATO Modelling and Simulation COE (NATO M&S COE) to connect and potentially collaborate with their Human Factors and Simulation committees. Our friends at MEDCoE (US Army Medical Center of Excellence), Mr. Mike Eldred & Mr. Joey Perez, along with COL Paul Kwon from PEO-STRI, and Dr. Ben Goldberg & Dr. Matthew Hackett from U.S. Army DEVCOM, also paid TEAM TATRC a visit during the conference. These thought provoking lectures on Human-Machine Teaming & research strategies have reinforced CPT Richardson & Dr. Stoor-Burning’s vision for the future. Huge thanks to all the individuals and teams who connected with us last week at I/ITSEC! It was a great week for the SIM world! #IITSEC | #FuseTheTeam | #FindAWay | #AutomatingCasualtyCare

  • Yesterday, TEAM TATRC gathered at the beautiful Holly Hills Country Club in Ijamsville, MD, for a dynamic and inspiring strategic off-site. Focused on fostering teamwork and exploring how each individual contributes to TATRC's organizational structure, the day was packed with engaging activities and meaningful discussions. The off-stie began with welcoming remarks and a motivational video from COL Jeremy Pamplin, setting the tone for collaboration and innovation.
