Our SVP & COO, Leroy Moore, inspired local leaders at the Tampa Club with a visionary discussion about how the Tampa Housing Authority is shaping the future of urban development. He highlighted Encore and West River—transformative mixed-income, mixed-use communities that have more than tripled affordable housing options, revitalized neighborhoods, and created opportunities that uplift everyone. These developments are not just homes—they're hubs for jobs, sustainable growth, vibrant retail, and community-building outdoor spaces. But the excitement didn't stop there. Leroy gave us a sneak peek at what's next: the redevelopment of Robles Park Village! This project promises even greater transformation with more housing, revitalized spaces, and opportunities for families to thrive. Stay tuned as we continue driving inclusive, community-centered growth for Tampa! #UrbanInnovation #CommunityImpact #AffordableHousing #Tampa #HousingAuthority

For one of our talented essay contest winners, stable housing means so much more than just a roof overhead. It represents safety, happiness, and having a place to call your own. As part of our Essay Contest Winners' journey, they joined us at the Black Caucus in Washington, D.C., where they explored the historic African American Museum, experienced inspiring performances and discussions, and met Representative Kathy Castor. This opportunity provided them with a new perspective on Florida's future and the importance of civic engagement. Christopher Gonzalez shares how this life-changing trip opened his eyes to the transformative power of stable housing and the importance of actively shaping our community's future.
