Interesting news from #SwarmchestrateEU partners in Korea! 💥 Dr. Gergely Sipos of EGI Foundation gave a talk at Technology Management, Economics, and Policy (TEMEP) Programme of Seoul National University about the initiatives of EGI, including GreenDIGIT, which will be a starting point for collaboration on "environmental impact aware workload management" and "ecological sustainability of applications". Prof. Dr. Jörn Altmann, who hosted the event, further welcomed Dr. SONG Sa-Kwang of KISTI, who introduced the computing sharing infrastructure of Korea, called Korea Research Data Commons (KRDC).

SZTAKI performs basic and application-oriented research in an interdisciplinary setting in the fields of computer science, engineering, information technology, data science, intelligent systems, process control, networking, and multimedia. Contract-based target research, development, training, and expert support for domestic and foreign industrial, governmental and other partners are important activities at the Institute. SZTAKI is keen on networking, whether it is cooperation with Hungarian SMEs or the adoption of international best practices. The Institute is involved in several European and Hungarian projects and aims to ensure that the results of these collaborations can be used by Hungarian economic actors.
