    People aren't searching in Google like they used too... 👇 What I mean by this is that 👇 ⛔️ "No one searches for your category term anymore..." ⛔️ So if you are strategically bidding on clicks for let's say ⛔️"B2B Content production platform" ⛔️ Then who you are actually competing against are a bunch of large conglomerate companies that aren't true competitors... 😵 And bots are likely just clicking on your ads so Google can get that ad revenue 😵 What you should be bidding on instead is higher up ⬆️ in the marketing funnel things like... 💚💚 "How does content syndication work" "How can I repurpose my content for social posts" "How can I turn social posts into case studies" 💚💚 The list goes on...     How to make an Impactful 2025 Marketing Budget! 💡2025 is upon us and it’s time to get our marketing budgets set. More importantly we want to set up a process and feedback loop where we prove the value of our campaigns. The problem is we have too many competing priorities in marketing and far too many campaign channels to pick from. Perhaps you have a few reliable channels such as SEO or PPC but others you are looking to explore and validate. Here at Sure Oak, we have come up with a budgeting system called “Bullets before Cannonballs”. It’s a methodology we use to allocate our budget in a smart and measured way, spending dollars in small amounts until we can validate the channel for increased spend. It’s a 3-stage process of 1. Smart Bets 2. Allocation of Capital and 3. Execution and Attribution. Stage 1 Smart Bets In this stage we make some hypotheses by listing all the channels we are considering and we rate them for how hard they will be to execute, how much they will cost, and their potential ROI. Stage 2 Allocation of Capital We all have limited time and money, so we are going to allocate our budget based on historical channel performance and our hypothetical ratings. For example, I may have rated GoogleAds very high, but I’ve never run one before so I may allocate a modest budget of $20 a day for high potential keywords. Next I decide how long to run the ad, let’s say 30 days. Stage 3 Execution & Attribution This is where ”great” marketers separate from the “good” ones. The ability to measure campaign results using GA4 and other data tools and then pinning those results against our spend to give us an accurate ROI. I’m not talking just about your media spend, I’m talking about all of it—your employees’ time, tools and contractors. The more detail the better.     Contrary to popular belief - you should include footers on your "squeeze" pages 😉 There is a ton of data to support how giving your audience the option to visit other pages of your website from a landing page is a good move. So the next time you are faced with a decision - "should I include these links here or not?" Just ask yourself - by adding these links/content - is it giving that user an opportunity to learn more about me? If yes then do it... if no, then don't...
