Today marks the winter solstice, which means tomorrow will be a few seconds longer than today. Is this a tiny win? Yes. Are we celebrating anyway? Also yes. Some might call this the darkest day of the year, but we prefer to think of it as the day we start our extremely slow journey back to remembering what colors look like.

We are GAMES company
About us
We are a game company based in Helsinki, Finland, with offices in San Francisco, Seoul and Shanghai. Since our launch in 2010, we've released six games globally – Hay Day, Clash of Clans, Boom Beach, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, and Squad Busters. To make six games, we've killed dozens along the way. That's because we're obsessed with quality. Our mission is to create great games that as many people as possible play for years and that are remembered forever. To achieve this goal, we put together the best possible teams and give them the freedom and independence to succeed. Read More If you love games and are passionate about playing and crafting them, and you’re looking for a job that provides you ownership and independence, you’re in the right place. We’ve built a company of proactive, independent teams with the freedom to do what they think is best for their players, our games and the company at large. We are individuals from over 40 nationalities who believe in transparency, trust and the power of spending time with one another.

In Finland, nobody minds what you're wearing. Santa strolls around in his red suit, our developers rock their hoodies year-round, and everyone else is just happy in their sensible sneakers. It's a place where comfort beats style and people focus on what matters. That means our teammates can concentrate on making great games instead of worrying about dress codes, whether they're delivering presents in a flying sleigh or coding in a hoodie.

It's time to reveal the answers to our last desk detective challenge. Yes, the workspace of our CEO is the one that looks like a sticky note factory exploded! Surprised? So were the 17% of you who picked the minimalist masterpiece – we appreciate your faith in Ilkka's organizational skills. Turns out the desk of The Least Powerful CEO is an expression of... how to put it.. "apparent chaos but intuitive order".

While others are busy giving this holiday season, we decided to do something special: to take instead. Here's a Barbarian moving so slowly that you'll question your scrolling choices. Consider it our way of saying "thanks for following." In the meantime, we’re going to work on how to thank followers properly.

"Content created by employees can effectively boost authenticity and trust in your brand because the raw narratives humanize the organization." Thank you! <3333

Want to see a Finnish magic trick? Watch carefully as we turn 5 vacation days into 15 days of doing whatever you want (or simply being). Ready? 🪄 December 24-26 and New Year's Day are already public holidays, so just take off December 23, 27, 30 and 31, and January 2, and suddenly you're looking at a two-week winter break. Tada! That's it. Okay, that was kinda basic. But vacation should be, right?
