As the year winds down, it’s the perfect time to evaluate your systems and plan for the year ahead. From optimizing hydraulic components to ensuring pneumatic systems are ready to perform; here's a few things to consider: 1. 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗿 Check hoses, seals, and connectors for cracks, leaks, or damage. Replace any components showing signs of deterioration to avoid unexpected failures. 2. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗹𝘂𝗶𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 For hydraulics, test the oil for contaminants, viscosity breakdown, or water content. Clean or replace filters as needed to maintain optimal performance. 3. 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 Run a pressure and flow test to ensure the system is operating at its designed parameters. Address any inconsistencies before they impact productivity. 4. 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 Ensure pneumatic valves and hydraulic actuators are functioning correctly and responding accurately. Calibrate sensors and monitors to maintain precision. 5. 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 Review your maintenance schedule to incorporate lessons learned from the past year. A proactive plan helps minimize downtime and extends the life of your equipment. Taking these steps now can save time, money, and stress in the year ahead. A strong start in 2025 begins with systems that perform at their best - because when your systems are optimized, Nothing Can Stop You Now! #Summus

A safe workplace protects your team, enhances productivity, and minimizes costly downtime. Regular inspections, equipment upgrades, and adherence to safety standards are essential to preventing accidents. For example, hydraulic leaks or pressure imbalances can create hazardous conditions if left unchecked. Proactive safety measures save lives, time, and resources. At Summus, our team is committed to helping you maintain a safe and efficient operation. With our expert solutions and support, you can keep moving forward: No Gaps. No Games. No Guesswork.

Hydraulic and pneumatic systems power countless industries, driving efficiency and ensuring smooth operations. But without regular maintenance, even the most advanced systems can falter, leading to costly downtime and unexpected repairs. Why is maintenance so crucial? 1️⃣ 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: Over time, wear and tear can compromise performance. Scheduled check-ups ensure components operate at peak efficiency, saving energy and resources. 2️⃣ 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗻: Proper care prevents premature failures, protecting your investment for the long haul. 3️⃣ 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀: Identifying minor issues before they escalate can save significant time and money. 4️⃣ 𝗘𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆: Properly maintained systems reduce the risk of accidents, creating a safer environment for your team. All Summus divisions are dedicated to supporting industries with reliable solutions and expert guidance: 𝘕𝘰 𝘎𝘢𝘱𝘴. 𝘕𝘰 𝘎𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴. 𝘕𝘰 𝘎𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬. Don't Let Contaminants Scare You! Fluid filtration is essential for maintaining the efficiency, reliability, and longevity of your hydraulic or pneumatic system. Contaminants such as dirt and debris can cause premature component failure, reduced system performance, and increased maintenance costs! Choosing the right filter is crucial for protecting your system. Consider the following factors: • 𝗙𝗹𝘂𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆: Different fluids may require specific filter types and pore sizes. • 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲: The filter must be able to capture the specific contaminants present in your system. • 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲: The filter must be rated for the pressure and flow conditions of your system. • 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: Some components, such as servo valves, may require finer filtration to protect them from damage. By carefully selecting the right filter, you can significantly reduce the risk of contamination-related problems and ensure optimal system performance. #fluidpower #filtration #maintenance #Summus
