We won 🏆 It was a big honor and filled with pride to win the ANP 2024 Award with the project: Development of a New Automated Subsea PIG Launcher for Deep Water - within the category I of projects related to Exploration and Production of Petroleum and Gas. An important result had already been achieved when our project was classified into the three finalists announced some months ago. Among many other interesting projects selected in a very dynamic and competitive industry, the ANP 2024 Award of Best R,D&I Project is a Remarkable Recognition. I'd like to say a special thanks to all in my team and all in #NOV that contributed to the delivery of this project. Thanks to our project partners #TotalEnergies and #Equinor for the trust and great collaboration. Also, a big thanks to #ANP for the Recognition and Award. The Development of a New Automated Subsea PIG Launcher #SAPL aims to provide automated, remote pig launching, eliminating the need for a second flowline for pigging purposes. It will limit vessel requirement to cassette change-out and will enable the operator to pig anytime remotely on demand. Compared to subsea pigging supported by vessel operation, it will also drastically reduce CO2 emissions by an estimated 80% and will also reduce OPEX due to reduced vessel time required to support pig operations along life of field. All in all, the Subsea Automated Pig Launcher #SAPL aims to simplify subsea pigging operations and improve the economics of the field. It is a groundbreaking technology that offers oil and gas producers an efficient subsea-to-topside on-demand pigging solution.
