NSDC is pleased to announce that over 25,000 #SpecialDistricts have joined our coalition supporting the Special District Grant Accessibility Act (#HR7525 and #S4673). The NSDC-backed legislation would codify a first-ever formal definition of “special district” and ensure that almost 40,000 special districts can access essential Federal funding for their communities. Spending time with districts across Colorado at the Special Districts Association Annual Conference. I love these people, and I'm so grateful to SDA for making our sixth year our best yet. Four talks, four days, and what felt like 400 conversations, questions, and ideas. It's always an inspiration to work with public servants, firefighters, general managers, and board members who help the state function, and we hope our technology can make their lives a little bit easier.
