She's had problems with her immune system and received many transfusions. We wanted a Radio Flyer wagon to help bring joy to treatment days, and we are so grateful for it! Our daughter is about to be admitted to the hospital for a transplant next week. We first used it to load all the stuff we pack to the hospital. Now, Yarden uses it every day to rest in, or she asks for a ride when around the hallway. It’s such a bright spot in our day.”

Last December, 10-year-old Jayson wasn’t at home unwrapping presents or celebrating with his family. Instead, he was in the hospital, facing a serious pain crisis caused by sickle cell anemia. For Jayson, the holidays meant being far from home and missing out on the festivities that make the season magical. “My son was sad to be in the hospital and all his gifts were at home,” shares Irma, Jayson's mom.
