The proactive and engaged St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office is responsible for law enforcement, detention and civil process services for the residents and visitors of St. Lucie County, Florida. St. Lucie County is located on the central east coast of Florida and encompasses approximately 650 square miles. The Sheriff's Office offers a wide range of Law Enforcement services from Patrol to Investigations and K-9, Aviation, Marine, Dive Team, tactical and crime prevention services to just name a few. The county seat is Fort Pierce which has approximately 45,000 residents with a much smaller town of St. Lucie Village just to the north. The City of Port St. Lucie is the largest municipality with almost 140,000 residents and is located in the southern portion of the county. This city was made popular by the New York Mets Spring Training Stadium and the areas proximity to Palm Beach, Orlando and Tampa. We are proud to serve our community.
