What does Ryan Magarian, the mastermind behind Oven & Shaker, think about opening a Portland International Airport (PDX) location with SSP America? We sat down with him to find out. Ryan said, “It’s always hard to let go of the reigns, but SSP America has done a great job honoring the concept and bringing as much of the street side experience as possible to the PDX location. I grew up in Portland, and having something that I helped create at the airport is really exciting. It’s an honor.” We’re honored to work with Ryan as well and agree with his assessment that Oven & Shaker brings an elevated twist on pizza, cocktails, and vibes to PDX.

How does SSP America help travelers reach a destination before they even begin their journey? With games at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport’s Sky Gamerz! Journey back in time with Sky Gamerz’s retro Atari systems and a menu fit for gaming that includes a Level Up Breakfast, Tot-Chos, burgers, and more. Wash it down with a themed cocktail like the Invisible Cloak, Kraken’s Eye, or Energy Potion. At Sky Gamerz, it’s literally on like Donkey Kong!

If there’s one thing we do best, it’s bringing a taste of place to travelers. Whether they’re on their way out of town, landing back home, or on a layover, our restaurants at JFK International Air Terminal in John F. Kennedy International Airport let guests know they’re in New York. That’s why we opened a Boulton & Watt in T4. From the Steak Frites to the Pan Seared Branzino, passengers will get the quality culinary experience they’re used to from the beloved East Village brand. Take it from Director of Operations Greg Taylor, who said, “Boulton & Watt brings an elevated level of sophistication that remains accessible and convenient for diners. SSP America is proud to partner with Chef Simmons and his team at The Kitchen at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). The Kitchen is chef-driven and features a global cuisine in a modern eatery. The expansive menu has many beloved Texan and Tex-Mex dishes, balanced by other flavors near and dear to Chef Simmons and the SSP America team.
