Propeller Club - Port of Seattle We owe Prime Electric a BIG Thank You for donating the materials needed to replace the electrical service feeder to Sea Scout dock at Waterway 18. Thank you Keith Janssen and Jess Lemieux for making this possible. Power will be restored tomorrow, this time the wire will be installed in rigid conduit. There will be an armored box around the shore end of the conduit too. wire thieves will have to work a lot harder next time.

Propeller Club - Port of Seattle Happy Holidays to all From the Crew and Volunteers of Sea Scout Ship Propeller! Thank you all for helping us build a new dock in 2024! We look forward to growing our Sea Scout youth program and improving the MV Propeller in 2025!

Propeller Club - Port of Seattle The Waterway 18 dock was hit by wire thieves for a 2nd time. They stole shore power cables and cut the main service conduit and stole about 300' of #3AWG wire. We'll have replace the entire service conductor set - this time it will all be in rigid metal conduit instead of schedule 40 PVC. We'll also build an armored box under the gangway and string some razor wire to TRY to keep the thieves away. As you can imagine, replacing power cables isn't what we want to spend our limited resources on.

Propeller Club - Port of Seattle Our next metal fabrication project is getting started at Mt. Si High School. Rowan and CJ will make some tank vent goose necks and a new swing gate for the boats port side.
