Did you know that less than 3% of all music producers are women? In an industry that claims to celebrate diversity, one voice remains critically underrepresented. Looking to shift this landscape, Songtradr are hosting another 'Balance The Mix' event, this time at the W London Hotel. The event features a talented panel of female leaders across the creative industries as well as an exclusive performance and DJ set from renowned London-based artists Lynda Dawn and DJ Tina Edwards, curated by Bandcamp. In an evolving space, fueled by new genres, artists and techniques, demographics of the music industry remain surprisingly stagnant. One step at a time, we can balance the mix. Tickets are still available but not for long – check out the event and support the initiative here:  https://lnkd.in/e58z4s8g

From vibrations to emotions—here’s how we shape reality with sound. Last week at The Gathering Summit, set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of the Canadian Rockies, our team took to the stage to explore the transformative power of sound. At "The Sonic Boom: How Sound Shapes Reality," Rah Bhatt and Roger Sho Gehrmann shared how brands can harness the primal force of sound to connect deeply with audiences. Meanwhile, in "Demystifying Sonic Layers," Brian Scherman and Justine Ryan guided attendees through the intricate layers of sonic branding, revealing how each sound builds a brand’s unique identity. A huge thank you to The Gathering Summit for bringing together these forward-thinking discussions and for making it a truly impactful event.

At #Brandweek, there was no denying that music emerged as an integral part of sports marketing. Bryan Biniak, president and chief marketing officer at Songtradr, and Gavin Lester, partner and CCO at Zambezi, explored strategies behind successful sports campaigns that leveraged music. They revealed emerging data that confirmed music's key role in scoring big for brands, highlighting the powerful synergy between sports and sound in marketing strategies.  "Typically, the music isn’t on the front end – there’s not a music strategy, it’s how does it fits into the story? And unfortunately, it’s also “how much money do we have left?” But the reality is it should be in the beginning and really help shape the creative, especially when artists are influencers. Artists have fans and can connect with audiences immediately," said Biniak.
