Hey There, Defense Contractors and ESPs! The CMMC Final Rule Has Landed!
BIG news! The CMMC 32 CFR Final Rule is finally out and will change cybersecurity requirements for the industries serving the defense sector. The 48 CFR release is expected in Q1 2025.
For those in the DIB feeling uncertain, a dedicated community of CMMC professionals is eager to support defense contractors, especially SMBs and ESPs!
It is important to note that CMMC is not a unique cybersecurity framework.
Instead, CMMC has been designed to provide a process for ensuring that a recognized framework, NIST 800-171, has been adequately implemented. The CMMC compliance process is complex, involving extensive and repetitive tasks and documentation and taking significant time and money to execute. Innovative tools, such as SMPL-C and our certified CMMC partner network, are emerging to help you automate and simplify it, allowing you to do more with less.
Tackling compliance can feel like navigating a labyrinth. Whether you’re an MSP, a defense contractor, or just exploring, we encourage you to take advantage of the SMPL-C free trial period (https://lnkd.in/gX2C_nUV) to better understand the steps involved in the CMMC process and witness first-hand how you can scale documentation workflow and task management with our platform.
