With a rugged 32-strand polyester cover, a patent-pending low-profile splice, and a static, low-bounce feel, this innovative climbing line delivers excellent performance. 🔥 New Options: Released in 2024, the Onyx Sling is manufactured with precision using the Slingmax Roundsling machine and the new O-Spec HMPE Core Yarn. ONYX slings are half the weight of equal capacity polyester roundslings, come equipped with double layered protective jackets, and are very low stretch (less than 1%) under tension. Our single-path slings were instrumental in the flawless installation of the 2024 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree! 🌟🎁 This year’s centerpiece is a magnificent 70-year-old Norway Spruce from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Standing tall at 74 feet and weighing an impressive 11 tons, it was expertly lifted into place using the unparalleled strength and dependability of our roundslings. 🌲💪 Whether it’s a routine lift or a legendary project, our Twin-Path Slings deliver precision and performance every time. As this iconic tree lights up Rockefeller Center, we’re proud to have helped spread a little extra holiday magic in the heart of the Big Apple! 🌟🗽

John Ketchum, our Vice President, was invited to visit authorized manufacturing dealer Shibamoto & Co., Ltd. in Japan to train Shibamoto’s Fabrication Team on the new Slingmax Helix sling. During the visit, John met with the leadership team—CEO Hisa Shibamoto, President Masa Shibamoto, and Sling Department Director Tomohide Sekiguchi.
