  • 2024 has been an incredible year for Skribe, thanks to our amazing customers, team members, and investors. It was a year filled with big wins, memorable moments, and plenty of hard work. This year was more than just numbers (though we have plenty to share); it was about the dedicated, resilient, and brilliant people who made it all possible. From marathon depositions to AI-powered breakthroughs, you’ve shown us what it truly takes to lead the way in LegalTech. Together, we dealt with the tough stuff, celebrated the good stuff, and kept everything running smoothly. Thank you for trusting us to be your partner on this journey. We’re grateful for every case, every clip, and every connection you shared with us this year. Here’s to another year of making an impact—together. #legaltech #litigators #AI #personalinjury

  • Need more proof that litigators are ready for a change? At the #TLTFSummit, our founder, Karl Seelbach, shared his story, a frustrating moment that made it clear: testimony needs to move faster. His experience struck a nerve with the audience because they’ve been there too and can see the opportunity for improvement. We set out to reimagine a process that’s long overdue for transformation, how legal testimony is captured and delivered. It’s time to embrace "Video As The Record" and ensure the tools, techniques, and talent we use keep pace with modern needs. For every lawyer who’s dealt with slow timelines, excessive hassles, missed details, or outrageously expensive depositions, you are not alone. Skribe was built for you, and we’re ready to help you make it better. #legaltech #litigators #AI

On a mission to make justice more innovative, affordable and efficient for everyone, everywhere.

What does it take for a small startup to rise above 250+ contenders at the world’s most influential #legaltech summit? Two years ago, I found myself wrestling with a frustrating reality: justice still relies on tech born in the 19th century, the stenograph machine. As a litigator, I saw how this outdated method delays critical evidence, drains budgets, and tests everyone’s patience. Fast forward to last week’s TLTF Summit. The energy was electric—picture investors, practitioners, and forward-thinkers from across the world, all converging to reimagine what’s possible. Out of a worldwide pool of 250+ promising startups, Skribe was honored to be chosen as one of the top 24 to present! Stepping onto that stage, I could feel my heart pounding (hello nerves!), but also the hum of anticipation in the room. I shared my personal story of a high-stakes Zoom deposition where the videographer was missing. The court reporter, a lovely lady, looked at me with kind but helpless eyes when I asked if she could press “record." She replied “no,” she wasn’t authorized to do.   I had to improvise to capture the testimony by video myself. It would be weeks before I had her transcript, but I had my video that night. I couldn’t help but think to myself: we must do better. Justice deserves to move faster, cost less, and serve more people. The reaction to my presentation was immediate. People leaned forward, took notes, and asked how soon they could try Skribe or invest. Last Friday, Skribe was chosen as one of the top 5 startups of the entire summit! At that moment, I looked around and saw not just validation, but a new era emerging. Leaders eager to collaborate and investors who “got it.” It wasn’t just validation of Skribe’s solution, but proof that the world is ready for a major shift in how legal work is done. At the heart of this transformation is a community—those who believe in a world where justice is efficient, affordable, and fair. The connections formed last week will guide the next chapter of our industry, inspiring bold partnerships, strategic investments, and a collective leap forward. To the visionary minds behind TLTF, especially Zach Posner, Rebecca Engel, MBA, Casey Lynn Tierney, CFA, CPA, Tanner Rogers and the entire organizing team: thank you for curating an environment where innovation isn’t just welcome—it’s celebrated. Your summit didn’t just showcase the future of legal tech; it accelerated it. To everyone I met—your energy, openness, and encouragement have lit a path forward that we’ll walk together. The future of #legaltech is waiting, and we’re building it now. Special thanks to Tom Irby and • Jeff Eversmann (Long View Technology Ventures) for helping us spread Skribe's vision of transforming testimony and accelerating justice! #TLTFSummit2024 #LegalTech #Depositions

On a mission to make justice more innovative, affordable and efficient for everyone, everywhere.

How much time was I wasting reading deposition transcripts? 🔍 Last week, I was deep in a personal injury case with 15+ hours of deposition testimony—tons of details about the accident, injuries, and medical treatment. Normally, I’d be stuck reading, or at least skimming, every line to find the key moments. But this time, I tried something different. I used a software-powered deposition assistant. Instead of combing through endless pages, I just asked the app: "What did the witness say caused the accident?" In a few seconds, I had the exact answer plus a synced video clip of the testimony! I kept asking more questions and, within seconds, kept getting direct answers with supporting video clips that I could save to a playlist. In less than an hour, I had all my key issues addressed and summarized with supporting video clips that I could pass along to my client. The software saved me many hours and let me focus on what really mattered. This wasn’t just about speed—it was about better defending the case by getting the right information and video evidence to my client in a way they could easily digest it. Curious about how AI software could help you and your team?
