Are you interested in learning more about the Skadden Fellowship Program? The program provides two-year Fellowships to recent law graduates to pursue the practice of public interest law on a full-time basis. Now is the time for host organizations and students to begin planning for our September 6, 2024 deadline. One week from today, on Monday, April 15 at 3 pm EDT, the Skadden Foundation will co-host a virtual informational for non-profit public interest organizations who would like to learn more about serving as host organizations for a Skadden Fellow in the 2025 Skadden Fellowship application cycle. Please visit https://lnkd.in/gmhb3vCB for additional information. Additionally, on Tuesday, April 16 at 3 pm EDT, we will host our first virtual informational for law students interested in applying for a Skadden Fellowship. Please visit https://lnkd.in/gE6vbACC for additional information. FAQs, eligibility information, and more are available on our website. Please contact Kathy Quijije with accommodation needs for either of these sessions.
About us
The Skadden Fellowship Foundation launched in 1988 to commemorate Skadden's 40th anniversary and has since become the largest public interest law firm in the United States. The program provides two-year Fellowships to talented young lawyers to pursue the practice of public interest law on a full-time basis. Our guiding principle is to improve legal services for the poor and encourage economic independence. To date, the Foundation has funded over 900 fellowships. Ninety percent of former Fellows remain in public service, and almost all of them continue working on the same issues they addressed in their original Fellowship projects.
