As we close out 2024, we reflect on a year filled with collaboration, growth, and meaningful results. This year, SixSEED Partners built on the strong foundation of effective succession planning completed in 2023. We applied the same leadership and team development tools we use with clients, embracing an organizational systems approach within our own team. As we often say to leaders: "𝑇𝑜 𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑓𝑢𝑙 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑢𝑙𝑡𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑠, 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑘 𝑏𝑒𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑠 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛 𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑣𝑒𝑠." We are grateful and inspired by all our clients and partners for embracing this mindset and demonstrating their resilience, adaptability and courageous leadership. With thanks to our colleague Deiadre Rauch for highlighting the Year Compass group, we join her in offering you this free resource to reflect on this year and plan for your next one. https://lnkd.in/eckFB6dH 𝐀𝐬 𝐖𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 We continue our focus on providing integrated solutions to heal healthcare. Our mission is clear: to help leaders and teams achieve excellence, foster well-being, and create healthy, high-performing cultures. We thank you for your trust and partnership this past year and look forward to making it a year of lasting impact - together. #HappyNewYear #LeadershipDevelopment #TeamDevelopment #2025Goals #Gratitude

https://lnkd.in/epbf-p5E Please see this client case study on work Petra Platzer, PhD NBC-HWC PCC, Vinay Kumar, PCC and Lisa Hompe, MSOD, BSN, RN, ACC just completed with an academic medical center. The nurse executive brought SixSEED Partners in to facilitate a full day retreat with her leaders and frontline managers to connect together, to honor their collective progress on their Strategic Plan, and to begin thinking differently together on how to meet their patient care needs going forward. #leadershipdevelopment #teambuilding #wellbeing #systemintegration #strategicthinking #gratitude #connections #scalingleadership

https://lnkd.in/e_xZ-ZaU In this post, we celebrate Alex Nesbitt's reminder about the importance of leaders living strategy in our everyday habits, instead of just speaking about it. Nesbitt highlights Stephen M. R. Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective Leaders and the importance of having an outcome focus along with a strong capacity for collaboration and partnering. During a recent leadership capacity-building retreats, Petra Platzer, PhD NBC-HWC PCC, CEO of SixSEED Partners, Lisa Hompe MSOD, BSN, RN, ACC and Vinay Kumar, PCC facilitated a session where these principles were integrated into the learning and working session. Tune in to Thursday's post to learn more. Want support in integrating these habits? https://lnkd.in/eA_76yDd Organizations sometimes ask us what makes us different from any other coaching/ leadership & Organizational development consulting group, and we proudly say the following: 1. We apply what we teach to ourselves. We can't ask our clients to take risks and be vulnerable if we're not willing to do the same. We create a safe and challenging crucible for our own development as we engage our clients to leverage courage and compassion. 2. We are constantly looking for the both/and-- we will help you solve problems as we also invite you to create systems that effectively navigate between persistent and unsolvable tensions. For many of you this year, that has looked like navigating well-being as you drive for high-reliability cultures and excellence. It's also looked like navigating individual team needs- eg, clinical team needs AND administrative and more centralized needs. 3. We develop you AS YOU DO YOUR WORK. No one has discretionary time these days so we have to help you do the work that needs to be done, while coaching you in the moment to compassionately observe ineffective habits while creating new ones that help to achieve better and faster results with less energy spend. Does this sound enticing? Tune in next week when we tell you about the great work we've done at Greater Baltimore Medical Center and University of Maryland Medical System! And contact us! https://lnkd.in/gPbhaDj #bothand #polaritymanagement #complexity #systemchange #culture #wellbeing

https://lnkd.in/edFTAFuv With thanks to the Conscious Leadership Group, this simple post is a life-changer. Learning how to separate "facts" from "story" is an essential leadership AND life skill. The post and graphic illustrates the powerful difference between facts and story. One simple illustration: Fact: Your coworker interrupts you in a meeting. Story: They don’t respect your opinion. Facts don't lead to drama... stories do. A leader's role is to: 1. "Learn to separate the facts —the things a video camera would see—from the stories you’re telling yourself about those facts." 2. "Create a culture where both facts and stories (opinions, judgments, beliefs) are welcome." What facts matter to you and your teams? What stories are you making up about those facts that are causing distress? Want a partner to help you surface them? https://lnkd.in/gECPz6QK Today we share a post by our colleague, Nick Petrie who discusses, from their research, one of the most common causes of burnout which is bad fit for a role or culture. Nick highlights the particularly toxic cocktail of a strong work ethic and poor role or culture fit. Their research found that due to a strong work ethic, people tended to stay in their jobs or organizations longer than was healthy for them physically, emotionally and relationally. "People tend to overestimate the risk of making a change and underestimate the risk of staying in an ill-fitting role." #burnout #culture #highachievers #poorjobfit #wellbeing

https://lnkd.in/eAtgQMYZ With thanks to @Lisa Hompe MSOD, BSN, ACC for bringing this important interview to us on "Humanizing the Workplace: a healing approach to leadership development." This link takes you to an interview with Adam Rosendahl of Late Nite Art and Amy Elizabeth Fox of Mobius Executive Leadership. We found this quote by Adam Rosendahl of particular relevance: "When we show people a different way of doing business, that. is more from the heart, they will choose that every single time." Leaders are looking for a place of safety where they will not be judged and can show their human-ness; leaders must heal first before they can lead healthy, sustainable change where ALL flourish; leaders don't want to suffer in silence. SixSEED Partners distinguishes our work by integrating head, heart and hands. We teach evidence-based theories; we integrate tools that allow all of us to connect on a heart-space and human basis; and we use our hands to take action that is purposeful and not based in fear or obligation. In keeping with a focus on the Inner Development Goals, this podcast and approach supports Being - Relationship to Self and Relating-- Caring for others and the world. Would you like to humanize your workplace where you integrate wellbeing and excellence?
