Who needs an Elf on the Shelf when you’ve got a Superintendent on the Shelf? Northwestern Local Schools Superintendent Jeff Patrick surprised a group of very excited preschoolers with candy canes on a fishing pole this week! Seeing our SHP-designed spaces come to life with so much joy is the best holiday gift we could ask for!

We're proud to play a part in Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library’s "Building the Next Generation Library" initiative. Since 2020, we’ve partnered with CHPL to design innovative new branches such as Forest Park and Symmes Township, as well as revitalize existing locations such as Mt. Healthy, Cheviot, and Anderson. By blending modern design with community needs, we’re helping CHPL create vibrant, accessible spaces for generations to come. Congratulations to Austin Lueder on earning his NCIDQ certification! Austin plays a key role in delivering and articulating tailored design solutions for SHP clients across a variety of projects. His approach emphasizes creativity, functionality, and a deep understanding of the client’s needs, which has played a key role in the success of projects such as the Sycamore High School renovation and the new Scioto Valley LSD 4-6 school. “While many factors contributed to my goal of becoming NCIDQ Certified, the greatest influence was the opportunity to provide future SHP designers with the same guidance and mentorship that I received from our NCIDQ-Certified staff members throughout my own certification journey. At first, my desire to receive NCIDQ certification was mainly geared toward personal growth. However, the more time I spent learning and listening from my NCIDQ-Certified colleagues, the more I wanted to receive certification so that I could someday do for others what they have done for me.”

Congratulations to Gallia County Local Schools on the groundbreaking of their new health clinic! As one of the Appalachian Community Grant-funded projects, this center will simultaneously serve the school and the community. Superintendent Phillip Kuhn and several other members from the Gallia community shared positive words about the project. We are excited to see how this shapes the school's future!

We had a great time hosting a group of Kings Local School District students in our Cincinnati office yesterday! These students are in a high school architecture class, which aims to set them up for future success! We were happy to invite them to our office to learn about being an architect and show them around the office. We even got to share a few insights about their future high school, which is currently in design! Thanks for visiting!
