She Should Run is a nonpartisan nonprofit working to increase the number of women considering a run for public office.
About us
She Should Run is a non-partisan 501(c)3 that provides an approachable starting place and network for women leaders considering a future run for office and for those who support them. Our mission is to expand the talent pool of women running for office in the United States by providing community, resources, and growth opportunities for aspiring political leaders. We believe that women of all political leanings, ethnicities, and backgrounds should have an equal opportunity to lead in elected office and that our democracy will benefit from the varied perspectives and experiences that women bring to leadership. We don’t know what 2025 looks like for our work. But one thing we do know is that, when the going gets tough, women step up. We meet women where they are to help them see themselves in elected leadership–will you donate now to support this critical work? https://lnkd.in/efeiuFAV

The She Should Run team was saddened to learn of the passing of former president Jimmy Carter yesterday. President Carter was an advocate for gender equality, taking the fight for women’s rights far beyond his presidential career. President Carter was an advocate for the passage of the Equal Rights Amendment, and during his term, he appointed 41 women to the federal judiciary, marking a 500 percent increase in the number of female federal judges. We are inspired by his work to make our government "competent and compassionate," and our thoughts are with his loved ones.
