Our CEO Marjorie Maas was honored as the Fall Commencement speaker at her alma mater Truman State University this past Saturday. This past Saturday was a top of the mountain moment for me - a milestone and honor in my professional walk - as I gave the Fall Commencement address at Truman State University. I spoke as an alumna on the #good that is uniquely yours to do, identifying it, and acting on it with urgency. I've included the link to my intro/speech. What a landmark day for one of our key partners in the Share Good Family yesterday! The Community Foundation for Western Iowa (SHAREiowa.org organizers) along with the CHARLES E. LAKIN HUMAN SERVICES CAMPUS FOUNDATION and Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced a sustaining gift to Southwest Iowa communities that will ripple for years and lead to thinking big for these communities across the region.
