Shake Shack sprouted from a hot dog cart in Madison Square Park (NYC) to support the Madison Square Park Conservancy’s first art installation. The cart was quite the success, with Shack fans lined up daily for three summers. In 2004, a permanent kiosk opened in the park: Shake Shack was born. This modern day “roadside” burger stand serves up the most delicious burgers, hot dogs, frozen custard, shakes, beer, wine and more. An instant neighborhood fixture, we welcomed people from all over the city, country and world who gathered together to enjoy fresh, simple, high-quality versions of the classics. The rest, as they say, is burger history. And since day one, it would not have been possible without our stellar team! It takes a village to create *Shackmas magic*. ✨ Helping us this year (and many past!) is Pecan Deluxe Candy Company, our supplier that create shake staples like the 'donut crunch' on this year’s Apple Cider Donut Shake. Like Shake Shack, Pecan Deluxe started small, as an ice cream scoop shop in the 1950s. After transitioning into a candy company, the family-owned business has been working with Shake Shack for 10 years. ‘Working with Shake Shack was always a dream of ours - we saw your growth potential from the beginning, and knew we could create a relationship that would allow us to scale together”. - Jay Brigham, President/CEO. Many past LTO shake flavors, like the Peaches and Cream Shake and Viva’s Cinnamon Roll Shake, were created from scratch for Shake Shack. New Shack alert 🙌 Check out the newest OC Shack in Huntington Beach, California! Last week, we opened our doors (and our drive-thru lanes) to 'Surf City USA'. 🏄♂️ Opening day celebrations included a rousing 'Shack Clap' and team speech, local Mayor + Chamber appearances, school band tunes, and vintage cars in the drive thru.
