By restoring native habitats, enhancing biodiversity, and supporting sustainable water resources, we are ensuring the health of the Tuolumne River for generations to come. “Together, we’re doing the work to protect and restore native fish populations on the Tuolumne River. The Old La Grange Bridge Habitat Restoration Project is also a preview of the future. TID, along with our partners on the river Modesto Irrigation District and San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, recently completed the Old La Grange Bridge Habitat Restoration Project. The project improves spawning and in-channel habitat for fish in the Tuolumne River. This is just one of many river restoration projects TID will have a hand in over the coming years!

Thrilled to kick off the Design-Build phase of the Biogas Utilization Project with this incredible team! This project will upgrade the biogas generated at the Southeast Treatment Plant to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) for pipeline injection. It meets our Levels of Service for biogas utilization, supports California’s state goals for in-state production and distribution of RNG, and aligns with the City’s sustainability objectives.
