We’re an industry leader in home and community-based specialized health care. We help people live well.
About us
Homes and communities are where people thrive. We’ve held this belief since our founding in 1967 and have worked to make it reality for the thousands of individuals we serve. We continue that work today and are using innovation, technology, and collaboration across our organization to do more for more people. Sevita is the leading provider of home and community-based specialty health care, with 40,000 employees proudly serving over 50,000 individuals. We believe that people can grow, learn, and be as independent as possible in the homes and communities where they live. We serve adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, individuals with complex care needs, people recovering from brain injury, seniors in need of everyday support, children in foster care, adults and children with autism spectrum disorders, and other individuals who may require care across a lifetime. Our goal is to enable these individuals to be as independent as possible and to live and thrive in their communities. It’s what we’ve done for more than 50 years, and it’s what we continue to do today. For us, it’s a calling. Because when you have a chance to make a difference in someone’s life, you take it. Our team has a passion for helping others grow, learn, and live their best life. We meet people where they are and help them reach their full potential. At Sevita, it’s not just a job. It’s about seeing others for who they are, and understanding and meeting their needs and preferences. An individual’s health and wellness goes beyond simply physical health – it’s behavioral supports and looking at social determinants of health, too. And we are right there, supporting the whole person, because every person has the right to live well.

Jackie Miller, Marketing & Clinical Liaison at Pediatric Partners, a part of the Sevita family, volunteered to help wrap Christmas presents with Bridging the Gap, Financial Director and Board Member, Janelle Albrecht. The group's giving tree program serves nearly 700 children. The giving trees included $25 to be spent on family needs and $25 to be spent on family wants. Bridging the Gap’s mission empowers and uplifts school children who lack critical needs, ensuring they have the resources and support necessary to thrive academically, emotionally, and physically. They provide inclusion to all youth. Thank you Jackie!

Help us celebrate our Caregiver of the Week Tiffani Wallace! Tiffani has been a Program Supervisor for 2 years. "One of the most memorable moments that I have had was taking several individuals with staff to a Louisville Bats baseball game. The smiles on their faces showing how happy and excited they were, just shows the difference we make in their lives." Thank you Tiffani! #CareersWellLived https://sevita.us/3VHiVlI

Meet Corrie Koziol, the Lead Specialist and OT at Futures BTC! “My therapy model is play-based, sensory rich, and child-driven. One of my biggest strengths is building rapport with my clients and their families. A child’s job is to play and I am a big kid at heart! I believe in the power of play and creativity to encourage participation and function. My WHY for being an OT: helping children fulfill independent and meaningful lives.” #CareersWellLived

Congratulations to our Caregiver of the Week, Samantha Spreng! “It's hard to choose one memorable moment with my individuals because there are so many. I believe my favorite is when I got to assist one of my residents when he wanted to bake sweets for the house. It's just so heartwarming to see him light up when he's baking. Another memorable moment I have in my residence was when we had music playing throughout the house and just being able to sing and dance along to the music with the residents.” Thank you Samantha for all you do!

Last week, our Renaissance Adult Day Health Center hosted “Fiesta de Agradecimiento”, a holiday gratitude celebration. Participants and community members gathered to enjoy a traditional Hispanic Thanksgiving dinner, live music, and activities! Worcester’s Mayor Joe Petty (pictured with team members Steven Boyce, Maria Diaz, and Sylvia Ruiz) stopped by to partake in the celebration of culture, community, and the importance of living well!
